The Sebra x Träumeland Comfort mattress is a high-quality mattress for the Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. Developed in collaboration with the renowned mattress specialists at Träumeland and approved by independent testing institutes.
This two-piece, OEKO-TEX® certified mattress has rounded corners and fits the Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. – both in the baby stage and when extended to junior size. It has been tested and meets the safety requirements of the European standard EN16890:2017.
Along the cover's sides is a strip of extra breathable ventilation material, ensuring optimal air circulation. A safety zipper prevents the child from accidentally opening the cover. The cover can be opened with a paperclip when it needs to be washed at 60°C.
The mattress's wave-shaped underside helps transport moisture away, keeping the mattress fresh and hygienic. The core is made of cold foam that is LGA-certified and has undergone extensive testing for health and environmental safety. The purpose of the LGA certification is to guarantee a mattress that is safe and healthy for your child.
When you order the Comfort mattress, you receive two mattresses. The larger mattress is used in the first stage when your child is a newborn until the need for a longer bed arises. The extension piece is used when you extend the Sebra Bed to a junior bed so the mattress can grow with your child. This means no additional purchases are needed as your child grows.
Note: Always replace a mattress if your child sleeps in a second-hand bed. A used mattress is not hygienic, and research shows that a pre-used mattress can lead to allergies and skin problems.

A1: Both mattresses are manufactured in Austria by Träumeland for the Sebra Bed. The Comfort model features a 100% polyester cover with side mesh ventilation and an LGA-certified cold foam core. The Signature model incorporates TENCEL™ blend fabric and additional hypoallergenic certifications.
Q2: How do I unzip the cover for washing if there is no zipper pull?
A2: For child safety, the zipper is intentionally designed without a pull-tab. Simply slide a standard paperclip through the zipper slider loop to pull it open. The cover can then be washed in the washing machine at 60°C.
Q3: Should I replace the mattress if I buy a second-hand Sebra Bed?
A3: Yes. It is strongly recommended to buy a new mattress for a pre-used bed. Used mattresses can harbor dust mites, allergens, and moisture residues, and may have lost their original firmness over time.
Q4: Will this mattress fit other baby cots?
A4: This mattress has rounded corners specifically tailored to the inner dimensions of the Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. (112.5 x 70 cm). While it can be used in other cots with identical internal dimensions, it is best paired with the Sebra Bed for optimal safety and fit.
